Projects delivered on time, on budget, and built to last
I manage and coordinate projects across development and humanitarian sectors, from field operations to multi-agency governance, so that what was planned is what gets delivered.
The problem : Good plans fail in execution
Projects rarely fail on paper. They fail between partners, countries and reporting cycles, where small gaps compound until the workplan, the budget and the donor framework no longer describe the same project. Typical symptoms:
• Workplans, budgets and donor frameworks that drift apart between reporting cycles
• Partners and agencies working from different versions of the plan
• Delays and overruns discovered only at reporting time
• Status reports that describe activity but not progress toward results
• Handovers and project closures where operational knowledge is lost

My Approach
“Delivery is a coordination problem before it is a technical one.” I work in close collaboration with your operational units to meet your objectives while respecting the calendar and the budget. Information is shared with managers, partners and team members throughout execution, so problems are anticipated rather than discovered. Continuous feedback and a second pair of eyes catch what is easy to miss between the lines, and I stay flexible when schedules and tasks change. Where missions are involved, I assess security and logistics and prepare a pre-travel action plan that reduces cost and risk.
What this looks like in practice
At MINUSMA, I supervised 94 technology projects with an annual budget above $100 million, coordinating ten ICT sub-units across twelve regions. I tracked progress with results-based management frameworks and produced weekly status reports for senior leadership. In Tunisia, I created standardized protocols on preventing violence against women that were adopted by five government ministries.
Coordination Across Agencies, Borders and Partners
Most delivery problems are interface problems. I have facilitated inter-agency coordination involving 25 UN agencies, the UN Country Team, OCHA and MINUSMA, and have acted as liaison between UN agencies, peacekeeping missions and local governments. I also designed academic mobility programmes between five North African countries using African Union frameworks. The common thread is building solid relationships with local partners and helping teams work through resistance to change.

Delivery That Outlasts the Project
A project that only works while its manager is present hasn’t been delivered. I build the structures that stay: standard operating procedures, clear governance, trained partners and planned transitions. I authored 78 standard operating procedures for seven divisions of the Canadian Department of National Defence, trained more than 100 UN staff in document management and collaboration tools, and trained 65 NGO representatives across four regions of Burkina Faso in policy advocacy.
Services: What I Deliver
From project design to closure, I coordinate delivery, track and report progress, align the agencies and partners involved, and keep operations running through change, so that plans become results and are handed over cleanly.
